A Beauty Salon with Deep Family Roots
Bella Rococo at Emilia's in Garwood, NJ is a beauty salon with deep Italian family roots. The owner, Stefanie Savino, opened the business in 2019 and has not only survived the last few years, but has thrived due to the support of both her immediate family members, as well as her team who she also considers family.

Stefanie details her background in the beauty industry and eventually opening her own salon. Her Aunt Emilia, an Italian immigrant, has been in the beauty industry since she was 10 years old, moved to America in 1963 and opened the salon which would later become Bella Rococo at Emilia's in 1989. We discuss the support Stefanie has received from her family throughout the process of opening and renovating the business.

Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr met in the early morning hours of July 11, 1804 at a spot known as the Heights of Weehawken in Weehawken, New Jersey to face each other in a duel. The duel would be the culmination of a long and bitter rivalry between the two men, both high profile politicians. While no one could say with absolute certainty as to what happened that day, Burr severely wounded Hamilton who would die from those injuries the next day.
