You Can Indulge Here But Not Feel Guilty

Have you ever had a gluten free pastry? Or done a juice cleanse? Well if you head to TasteBuddy and Short Hills, you can try them! Angie Segura & Alexa Clark opened up TasteBuddy in 2021 and have brought their new approach to food to their community!

Segment 1
Angie & Alexa began working 6 years prior to starting TasteBuddy at a restaurant, went their separate ways, but also knew they would someday work together again. Using their knowledge both in the front and back of the house, they decided to open up in Short Hills and provide a unique approach to food.

Today in New Jersey Histroy: On January 31, 1914 Hugh Joseph Addonizio, the 33rd Mayor of Newark and former US Congressman was born. After leaving office, he was prosecuted for taking kickbacks and convicted of corruption.

Segment 2
Finding ingredients and making sure that not only they are the highest quality, but they also need to make sure those ingredients are not contaminated by other products in facilities. We discuss different types of flours, how they create their different products, while making sure they are delicious!

New Jersey Fun Fact: New Jersey's state flower is the violet.

Segment 3
Despite being a new business, TasteBuddy has developed a great relationship with the community. As this particular area of Short Hills continues to develop, community members have been trying to support the different businesses to strengthen the downtown area. As they continue to solidify themselves in the community, Angie & Alexa are both working to make sure to give back to the same community that has supported them through that process.
